Performance for Babies: Lullabies and Lavender
Two performances in Graffiti Theatre, 11.00am and 2.30pm
In a unique collaboration with Graffiti Theatre Company, we present a musical experience for children under 3, with songstress Fiona Kelleher weaving her vocal magic for little ears. Watch out for Fiona’s forthcoming album of original songs especially for children.
Workshops for young composers and music explorers of all ages
Workshops using free technology and fun music apps to introduce creative music-making with Roundhouse Music and Music Generation Cork City.
Every 30 minutes (2pm to 6pm), open to all ages
Junior Band Performance on Cork City Hall Plaza
Music Generation Cork City presents the junior band of Barrack Street Band directed by Shauna McCullough. Performance 6pm.
Fresh from their first ever Summer Band Workshop, the band members are aged between 7 to 15 years and play brass, wind and percussion. They pack a punch with their fabulous arrangements of Mamma Mia, Don’t Stop Believing and some more classic band pieces!! (barrackstreetband.com).
Followed by several hours of musical enjoyment and fun from music groups throughout the city.
