This year’s Cruinniu na nÓg takes place on 15th June, and will see the return of Rock the Block in Knocknaheeny and a new collaborative event with Cork Circus Factory.

Rock the Block 2024
Come and Rock the Block with us in Knocknaheeny this June 15th for a full day of FREE youth music making! The day will run from 11am – 6pm and will feature a wide range of performances, workshops, art, food, face-painting, balloons, music video screenings and lots of family fun!
Rock the Block is presented by The Kabin Studio, Rhyme Island, GMCBeats & Music Generation Cork City in partnership with Creative Tradition, Cork City Council & Creative Ireland (Cruinniú na nÓg).

Fionn Mac Ceol
A new collaboration between Cork Circus Factory in partnership with Music Generation Cork City
Prepare to be transported back in time, through circus & sound, to the legend of Fionn Mac Ceol!
Join the young performers from Circus Factory Cork and Music Generation Cork City for this unique exploration of the legend of Fionn Mac Chumhall. Event goers will not only be treated to this special performance, but will also be invited to try their own hand at circus performance, with Circus Disco.
This night of entertainment will include an original performance by the young entertainers from Circus Factory Cork and will feature a musical backdrop, provided by the young musicians of Music Generation Cork City’s Mahon Community Pop Academy.
The performance will be followed by a Circus Disco, where attendees will be invited to try their hand at circus acts!
