We’re delighted to support the first-ever trad and folk music festival on Cork’s northside with Creative Tradition and Musical Neighbourhoods. The new 5-day festival features workshops, rehearsals, sessions, recitals, and concerts, showcasing the community spirit and musical culture of the northside.

Irish musician and Hothouse Flowers frontman, Liam Ó Maonlaí headlines our inaugural Féile as Music Generation Cork City’s Artist-in-Residence. Throughout the festival, attendees are invited to explore the beauty, depth, and jubilation of Irish traditional and folk music through a variety of immersive experiences. In addition to performances, workshops, rehearsals and sessions led by accomplished musicians will provide a platform for active participation and learning. Whether you’re a seasoned musician seeking to refine your skills or a curious newcomer, Féile Fearann Rí offers a range of events suitable for all levels of expertise.

Féile Fearann Rí is made possible by a partnership between Creative Tradition, Music Generation, Musical Neighbourhoods, local schools, community groups and Farranree Parish.
