Rock & Pop Programme


Ballyphehane Youth Music Project (BYMP) is a youth music-making initiative, supported by CETB Youth Services in partnership with Music Generation Cork City, running a weekly rock & pop programme and the annual YUM Festival.

After-School / Community Programme:

  • Ballyphehane Youth Music Project Rock & Pop Hub (rehearse weekly at Ballyphehane Pipe Band Room, for ages 12 – 18) – please note that due to refurbishment these rehearsals will be hosted at an alternative location from October 2019. For more details contact

Annual programmes:

  • The Youth United in Music (YUM) Festival is presented by Ballyphehane Youth Music Project in partnership with CETB Youth Services, Foróige, Music Generation Cork City and Cork City Council. This one-day festival has taken place each summer at Fitzgerald’s Park since 2014, offering young musicians, groups and rappers the opportunity to showcase their talent.
