No parade? No problem! ☘
For St. Patrick’s Day this year, we are inviting young trad musicians from all over the country to record audio of themselves playing the beautiful Liz Carroll tune ‘The Island of Woods’, to be compiled into a big video production! Led by our partners at Creative Tradition and Cork Academy of Music, the piece has been arranged so that musicians of any level can take part.
The video will contain images of artwork- any budding young artists out there, we want to hear from you! You can send in drawings, paintings, sculpture, photography or anything else inspired by the title ‘The Island of Woods’. Email to the address below.
